From the History of the Institute

The Scientific and Educational Institute of Eurointegration Studies is a structural unit of the university, established in 2006 to conduct research related to Ukraine's fundamental geostrategic orientations and the implementation of the European integration direction in the foreign policy of the Ukrainian state. The institute is consistently led by its director, Ivan Artemov, a candidate of historical sciences and an associate professor.

Over the course of its 16-year activity, the institute has consistently emerged as the winner of competitions for scientific projects announced by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, aimed at conducting research with state funding. It has successfully executed European projects, including grants from the International Visegrad Fund, and has curated the university's exhibits at various international educational exhibitions in Kyiv, earning prestigious awards for the university as a result.

The publication series 'Eurointegration: Ukrainian Dimension,' initiated by the institute in 2007, currently comprises 30 issues, 13 of which have been endorsed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as instructional manuals for students of higher education institutions.

The institute's work has been acknowledged with expressions of gratitude from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine. The institute's publications on the issues of Ukraine's Eurointegration have received the Diploma of the All-Ukrainian Competition 'University Book - 2010,' the gold medal of the International Exhibition 'Modern Education of Ukraine - 2011' in the category 'Publications of New Generation Textbooks for Specialized Higher Educational Institutions,' the 'Educational Oscar' in 2012, and the Grand Prize in the category 'Publications of New Generation Textbooks and Teaching Manuals' at the XXX Anniversary Specialized International Exhibition 'Education and Career - Student Day 2016.'"

The institute founded and publishes two periodical printed editions - collections of scientific works titled 'Geopolitics of Ukraine: History and Modernity' and 'International Scientific Herald.' These publications hold international standard serial numbers ISSN and are also hosted on the specialized platform 'Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine,' where the scientific articles contained therein are assigned digital identifiers DOI, and they are also indexed in Index Copernicus.

Since 2019, the collection of scientific works 'Geopolitics of Ukraine: History and Modernity' has been included in the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine in the specialties 291 'International Relations, Social Communications, and Regional Studies' and 292 'International Economic Relations,' receiving the category 'B'.
