The Centre of Historical and Religious Studies “Logos”

The Center was established to coordinate collaborative scientific projects focused on researching the history of religion and the Church in the Carpathian region. The Center's key priorities include openness to partnerships and cooperation with various institutions specializing in this field. These priorities encompass:

  • Conducting scientific research on the history of religion and the Church in the Carpathian region.
  • Publishing periodic journals and monographic studies.
  • Organizing scientific seminars, conferences, roundtable discussions, and presentations.
  • Establishing continuous connections with academic institutions, theological centers, and individual researchers in Ukraine and Central European countries.
  • Presenting the scientific achievements of the Center's staff at international conferences, symposiums, and seminars.
  • Creating an archive of the history of religious communities in Transcarpathia and an archive registry of religious architectural structures in the region.
  • International collaboration with leading secular and theological institutions in the Carpathian region.
