Students and staff of UzhNU gave a holiday to children: they visited an orphanage and a resource center
On the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays, representatives of the Student Council of UzhNU, the UzhNU Students' Trade Union and the Center for Humanitarian and Educational Work, together with activists of the UzhNU campus, organized an important charity event: they visited the Vilshany Orphanage and the Onokivsky Inclusive Resource Center, giving the little ones a festive atmosphere and New Year's mood.
The children were eagerly waiting for the guests. The kids were especially happy with the gifts collected by UzhNU students. They included sweets, warm clothes and toys. It was an opportunity to give a piece of warmth and care to those who need it most. We saw happy smiles on the children's faces, and this is the best reward for us.
For many years, the Vilshany Orphanage has been taking in children in need of special care, and the Onokivske Inclusive Resource Center has been helping children with special educational needs to reach their potential. The university continues to support these institutions by organizing various charity events every year.
Students and staff of UzhNU have once again proved that together we can do good! Let this campaign be an example for everyone, because it is through joint efforts that we can make the world warmer and kinder.
