"Startup UzhNU - 2018" winners have visited Italy
On December 4-5, 2018, the international event “Training and Presentation of Scientist Business Ideas” was held in Trieste, Italy as part of the project "European Early Innovators Innitiative" funded by the Danube Strategic Project Fund, initiated by the competent entities from 4 countries (Romania, Italy, Ukraine and Slovakia).
UzhNU was represented by this year's winners of the Innovative Ideas Contest "Startup UzhNU - 2018", a student of the Ukrainian-Hungarian Educational Institute Ganrietta Ban with her project "Monitoring System with the Elements of Augmented Reality", a student of the Faculty of Medicine Volodymyr Drahanchuk with his project "AIMD (Autonomous Injection Modular Device), Olha Bilak, a student of the Faculty of Biology, who presented the project "Composition of Essential Oils with a Wide Spectrum of Antimicrobial Properties", and a student of the Faculty of Physics Nadiya Kostrovska with the project "AR-GID".
During the first day of the seminar, the participants from Ukraine and Romania presented their projects at the University of Udine. The yound startuppers could also attend interesting lectures and master classes. The lecturers taught the students how to present the innovative ideas and products to potential investors and feel more confident. The next day, November 5, the updated presentations were demonstrated to the managers of various companies and the employees of the Area Science Park (Trieste, Italy).
During the event, the students of UzhNU made new very important contacts with the participants from other countries, met new people, gained new useful knowledge, tested their projects and business ideas.
