Training for participants of the StartUp: From Dream to Success competition
On Wednesday, 09 April, the first training event was held in accordance with the training programme for the participants of the StartUp: From Dream to Success competition. The event was moderated by Hanna Kostioviat, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance and Banking of the Faculty of Economics. The event was organised by the StartUP School - UzhNU and the Startup Centre of UzhNU.
The speaker of the event was Kateryna Skubenych, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Head of the Research Department of UzhNU, Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of UzhNU. She presented a report entitled ‘Startup as a form of innovative entrepreneurship’. Kateryna Skubenych spoke about the features of a start-up project as a form of innovative entrepreneurship, the characteristics of the stages of a start-up project development and the preparation of a presentation for pitching to potential business investors.
Throughout April, startups will be trained to integrate into Ukraine's startup ecosystem on their own, to understand the basic provisions for developing and implementing startup projects, and to gain an understanding of how to develop their own startup project.
It is worth noting that this was the fourth event in 2025 organised by the StartUP School - UzhNU, the previous event, namely the seminar ‘Grants: Opportunities to Launch Your Startup’, was held on 02 April for academic staff and students of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts.
