The final stage of "Startup - 2019" competition took place at UzhNU

The goal of the innovative ideas competition is to popularize the innovative and entrepreneurial activities among young people, develop students’ creative potential, raise the level of young scientists’ developments, and create conditions for the implementation of innovative ideas.

7 out of 18 projects qualified for the final stage of the competition. The projects were presented by the students of the Faculties of Economics, International Economic Relations, Engineering, Geography and of Information Technologies.

 According to the jury’s decision, the winners are Ivan Zub, a student of the Faculty of Engineering, and Taras Hryadil, a postgraduate student of the Department of Therapy and Family Medicine, with the project "Ecological products from biomaterials of plant origin".

Two second places were shared by QRWaiter project developed by Mykola Koshun, a student of the Faculty of Economics, Vladyslav Bulgakov, a student of the Faculty of Mathematics, Volodymyr Payda, the Faculty of Information Technologies of UzhNU, and Eduard Hrabchek, a student of the Faculty of Information Technologies of Lviv Polytechnic University, and a graduate of Uzhhorod High School #3 Nikita Kohut, and "Models of objects of landscape gardening in urbanized areas" developed by students of the Faculty of Geography of UzhNU, Valeriya Kurta, Oleh Haza, Olesya Chorney, Ivanna Durkot, Yana Voronina and Vadym Lutso.

Three projects were awarded with the diplomas for the third place, including  DioMusic project by students of the Faculty of Information Technologies of UzhNU,Maria Pelekh and Marianna Repka; The MoveON Service by students of the Faculty of Information Technologies of UzhNU Oleksandr Dius, Yuriy Hanhur, Vasyl Lukachynets, Yuliana Merenych and Yevhenia Datsyuk;  and "Ingrid" project by students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations Ivan Stoyka, Ivan Andreyev, Oleksandra Zavidfolushi, Renata Sheverya and Oleksandra Chereshnya.

The Rector of UzhNU, Volodymyr Smolanka, congratulated the winners of the competition and awarded them with certificates and diplomas.
