The COSMOS Platform is a unique system that combines artistic, therapeutic, and scientific formats for exploring light, sound, and space. It was created by the SMART City Institute at UzhNU as a multidisciplinary laboratory for well-being, consciousness, and creative thinking.

This is not just a series of projects—it is a holistic philosophy for harmonious human development, consisting of three interconnected areas:

1. The "Lux Aeterna" Theater of Light and Sound

Founded in 1982, Lux Aeterna is the world's first light-and-music theater that uses lasers, interference, multi-channel sound, and spatial scenography to create a deeply emotional impact.

In the theater's performances, the viewer becomes a participant in a meditative journey where light does not illustrate but plays the main role, and music brings the space to life.

2. VGORAY — A Light-and-Sound Therapeutic System

VGORAY is a mobile immersive platform that combines polychromatic light, multi-channel sound, and laser interference to achieve the effect of non-medicinal emotional recovery, which shows effectiveness in reducing stress and anxiety (PRS assessment).

VGORAY is a scientifically based wellbeing practice that can be implemented in educational institutions as a means of regulating the psycho-emotional state of students and faculty.

3. UZAY — The Museum of Laser Acoustics and Cosmic Art

UZAY is a space where scientific discoveries, cosmic visions, and art intersect. The museum features interactive laser installations, light-acoustic holograms, and objects demonstrating the interaction of colour, sound, and matter.

The goal is an aesthetic awakening through scientific beauty, and a tactile and sensory immersion into the depths of the Universe and the human imagination.

UZAY is also a space for STEAM education (Science + Technology + Art), which motivates young people to explore the world through emotional and sensory cognition.
