An international conference on physics of ferroelectrics took place at UzhNU
The international scientific conference "V Ukrainian-Polish-Lithuanian Conference on Physics of Ferroelectrics" was held in Uzhhorod National University on September 18-20, 2018.
Close and effective scientific cooperation between the scientists of Poland and Ukraine in the field of physics of ferroelectrics was established many years ago, due to regular scientific seminars, schools, and conferences held in the 1990s. Initially, the cooperation was established between Ukrainian and Polish scientists, and later Lithuanian colleagues joined. At present, conferences on physics of ferroelectrics are held regularly every other year alternately in these three countries. As a result of this collaboration, there appear a large number of joint publications, and the results of scientific research have important scientific and applied value. This is especially important for young researchers who traditionally make up a significant proportion of conference participants.
This time the conference participants were the leading scientists from Lithuania, Poland, and many Ukrainian universities, in particular from Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Lviv, representatives of semiconductor research institutes, and the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
