It was the final step allowing UzhNU to join the Danube Rectors’ Conference. All present representatives voted for the entry of our university to the Conference.
"One of the most pressing issues both Ukrainian and European higher educational institutions are facing today is the competition in the educational market. We must realize that success ensures continuous improvement of the quality of education, development of research, introduction of innovation and expansion of international relations between universities. The Danube Rectors’ Conference organizes symposia, seminars and summer schools and participates in EU financed projects. UzhNU will be able to actively participate in the working groups on the European Strategy for the Danube Region priority directions. Such new opportunities have become the target of our joining this community of European universities ", - said the Rector of Uzhhorod National University.
