UzhNU is highly rated in U-MULTIRANK 2021
Results of the annual International Ranking of Higher Education Institutions U-MULTIRANK 2021 were published on September 21, 2021. There are 1948 universities from 97 countries in it, and Uzhhorod National University is one of 79 universities included in U-Multirank for Ukraine. It has retained its high 12th position among Ukrainian universities.
U-MULTIRANK uses a multidimensional approach that allows to compare the university's performance in different activities, ranging them from A (very good) to E (weak). According to U-MULTIRANK website, The overall profile of UzhNU shows its top performance across various indicators, with 6 ‘A’ (very good) scores overall, including such indicators as bachelor graduation rate, post-doc positions, professional publications, publications cited in patents and income from continuous professional development.
U-MULTIRANK is developed and implemented on the initiative of the European Commission by an independent consortium led by the Centre for Higher Education (CHE) in Germany, the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS) at the University of Twente and the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) from Leiden University, both in the Netherlands, as well as the Foundation for Knoweldge and Development (Fundación CYD) in Spain. Associate partners include specialist organisations (e.g. data collection, web design), national ranking organisations and stakeholder organisations. The main goal of U-Multirank is to form an objective view of the various areas of activity of universities. In 2021, each university has been assessed by 30 indicators.
