UzhNU expands international cooperation with the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Kosice (Slovakia)
On Tuesday, November 7 2017, a meeting of the delegation of Uzhhorod National University including Vice-Rector of UzhNU for Academic Policy, Research and International Relations Myroslava Lendel, the Head of the Department of International Relations Oksana Svezhentseva and Associate Professor of the Department of Genetics, Plant Physiology and Microbiology of the Biological Faculty Maryna Kryvtsova with the delegation of the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Kosice headed by its Vice-Rector, Professor Zita Faiksova, PhD took place in Kosice, Slovakia.
During the working meeting, the participants discussed current and future cooperation projects, in particular, the ones implemented in the area of academic exchange. Particular attention was paid to scholarships for masters and postgraduate students in the areas of pharmacy, genetics, plant physiology and microbiology. The above mentioned educational exchange takes place as part of Erasmus+ scholarship program and is scheduled for the second semester of 2017-2018 academic year.
The participants of the meeting also discussed the issue of academic exchange for university teachers, which will take place under the Erasmus+ program, and will begin in the second semester of 2017-2018 academic year.
