Two new centers have been opened and one department has been renamed in UzhNU
The Center for Support of the Development of Health Care and Public Health and Education and Research Center for International Security and Euro-Atlantic integration at the Faculty of International Policy, Management and Business have been created in UzhNU. The decision was taken during the Academic Council Session that took place on April, 28th 2015.
The Center for support of the development of health care and public health will carry out scientific and methodological support of health care reform and promote the training of personnel.
Educational and Research Center for International Security and Euro-Atlantic Integration will be headed by the Professor of the Department of geography of UzhNU Ihor Todorov. The Center will operate on a voluntary basis.
The Department of cross-language communication and professional translation has been renamed. Now it is the Department of multicultural education and translation. The changes have been caused by the fact that the Department concentrates its attention on this area of research.
Members of the Academic Council of UzhNU also voted for the opening of doctoral studies in gastroenterology, family medicine and internal diseases medicine. They also approved the topics of dissertation research and recommended to print 16 publications by UzhNU scientists.
