The exam for the level of proficiency in the state language can be taken at UzhNU
In accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Ensuring the Functioning of Ukrainian as the State Language", as of July 16, 2021, persons intending to acquire Ukrainian citizenship or applying for election or appointment to positions specified by this Law must certify their level of proficiency in the state language. The state certificate of proficiency in the state language is issued by the National Commission for State Language Standards based on the results of the exams.
To conduct the exams, the National Commission for State Language Standards appoints authorized institutions - higher education institutions - that provide appropriate material, technical and organizational conditions for the exams and technically support the exam session.
Starting in September 2021, the state language proficiency exam can be taken at the State Higher Educational Institution Uzhhorod National University.

The registration procedure, the exam procedure, sample tasks and other information related to obtaining a state certificate of proficiency in the state language can be found on the official website of the National Commission for State Language Standards https://mova.gov.ua/.
