"The Revolution of Dignity… Time passes, but memories remain!" – photo exhibition dedicated to the events of the Maidan opened at UzhNU
On February 20, 2017 an exhibition "The Revolution of Dignity ... Time passes, but memories remain!" was opened at UzhNU to honour the deeds of the participants of the Revolution of Dignity and commemorate the heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.
Fire, smoke and ashes on the photos clearly show that the hell, there was no salvation from, prevailed in the Maidan. One can see mostly Ukrainian and EU flags on the photos, because the country wanted a new life, but the government had other plans at that time...
A lot of students, teachers and civic activists came to commemorate the victims of the Revolution of Dignity. All interested people could view the photos with imprinted moments of happiness, sadness, pain and incredible desire to survive in the difficult struggle of common people against the bandit government. Pictures of victories and losses of the Maidan indicate that the memories of the Revolution will never die, because all the people, who uprose to defend their position, rights and desires will forever remember the terrible events of February, 2014. And the pain of loss will forever be part of our nation’s DNA!
Commemoration of the Heavenly Hundred continued in the Scientific library of Uzhhorod National University, where the book “Fragments of the Maidan” was presented.
