"Student Friendship Week" ended with a spectacular festival

Great weather, jolly students full of positive emotions, good music and delicious food contributed the overall mood of the festival "Student Friendship Week" organized by UzhNU together with the Transcarpathian Hungarian Community of Students and Young Researchers. It has already become traditional, this year it was held for the third time. The last day of the festival, which took place on May 22, was preceded by sports competitions in football, basketball, ping pong, volleyball and cricket.

The main highlight of the student festival was a cooking contest, during which 6 teams representing different UzhNU faculties, 4 teams of Hungarian speaking students and a team of foreign students of UzhNU competed in cooking bograch and other dishes. In the late afternoon,  the air was filled with fragrant aromas of the ready-made bograch, and the teams presented their dishes to the jury.

As a result, all the teams that participated in the cooking competition were awarded valuable prizes. The award for the best bograch was given to the team "Kechke", and for the best dish – to "Exel Ishan", the team of foreign students of UzhNU. A student of the Faculty of Mathematics of UzhNU Yaroslava Matiychak became the winner of the contest "The Best Photo in Vyshyvanka".

During the entire festival, dance groups and singers created a wonderful atmosphere.

 Jay Kopf, a student of the Faculty of Medicine # 2, impressed everyone with his striking performance of the Ukrainian song "Two Colours".
