Student Friendship Week at UzhNU
Within the framework of the Student Friendship Week, football and basketball tournaments were held at the university sports ground on Monday, May 14, 2018. 13 teams representing different faculties of UzhNU participated in the festival. They included Ukrainians, Hungarians and representatives of several African countries.
The event was jointly organized by UzhNU and the Transcarpathian Hungarian Community of Students and Young Researchers. Students competed in different disciplines, including football, volleyball, basketball, ping pong and cricket for three days.
As a result, the team of the Medical faculty "Egypt from Africa" won first place in the football tournament, and "Swimming-pool Nigeria" won the basketball trophy.
A ping pong tournament took place on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. 7 students from different faculties competed for the victory. The winner is Vladyslav Rebryk, Yana Kostevych took second place and Zolt Nady was the third.
On Wednesday, May 16, 5 teams competed for the volleyball trophy. First place was taken by the team of the Medical faculty "Scalpel", second place – by the team called "Rainbow", and third place by the team "India Team B".
