Scientists of UzhNU are among the winners of the scientific project competition for young scientists
In 2016, in order to support young scientists, the Ministry of Education and Science launched a Scientific Projects Competition for Young Scientists, in which 79 winning projects were selected. For the first time the teams of young scientists were given the opportunity to carry out scientific research and development independently. From July 3rd to September 4th, 2017, the selection of scientific works, scientific and technological (experimental) developments of young scientists who work (study) in higher educational establishments and scientific institutions that are subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, was taking place. Further implementation of selected projects will begin in October 2017 and will be financed from the state budget. In total, 362 projects from more than 100 universities and research institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science were submitted to the competition, in particular, Uzhhorod National University presented 10 scientific projects for participation in the contest.
2 projects of SHEI "UzhNU" are in the list of the scientific projects to be financed, including: "Thermoelectric materials based on modified Thallium (I) - and copper (I) chalcogenides" developed by Anton Kohutych, Mykhailo Filep, Artem Pogodin, Vasyl Shvalya, Mykola Medulych under the supervision of Tetyana Malakhovska. Another research project "Development of new gas discharge light sources for technological innovation and development of greenhouse facilities" was developed by the team of authors: Yuriy Svyda, Halyna Popovych, Roksolana Hrytcak, Vladyslav Danylo, Ivan Aksenyuk and Yuriy Rohulych under the supervision of Antonina Malinina.
