The Rector of UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka wished students "to ignite their stars in life, be responsible and develop their intelligence skills..."

On November 17^th a solemn event on the occasion of International Students’ Day took place in the hall of the Academic Council of UzhNU where students had a meeting with the university rector Volodymyr Smolanka.

The head of the largest Transcarpathian university congratulated the students on this day stressing that student years are the best ones and high hopes are set on young people, they should bear great responsibility for every step they take: "When you become older, mature, you will analyze your lives and you will begin the analysis with your student years.

Now you have a lot of free time you can spend with friends and relatives. You have chosen you professional way which you will follow throughout your lives, you have a great opportunity to study in a beautiful city. In the future you should be responsible, because many of those present here will become either team leaders, or heads of some department, faculty, organization or enterprise. This burden of responsibility will not be easy, but enjoyable".
