The Rector of UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka made a working visit to the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice (Poland). As a result of the visit, a decision was made to conclude a cooperation agreement between Uzhhorod National University and the Silesian University of Technology. The agreement was signed by the rectors of the universities, Prof. Volodymyr Smolanka and Prof. Marek Pavelczyk. This partnership lays the foundation for the development of joint programmes and research opportunities in biomedical and bioengineering research.
By leveraging the strengths of both universities, the parties aim to accelerate progress in cutting-edge biomedical and bioengineering research, ultimately opening new doors for students and faculty on the international stage. The joint initiative promises to foster innovation, support intercultural exchange and create synergies in education and research for the benefit of scientific communities and society at large.
