–  Why are these specialties relevant in 2025?

– In 2025, these specialties remain extremely relevant due to the rapid development of the economy, technology and social needs. Here's why:

Accounting and taxation, finance, banking, insurance and the stock market. The digitisation of financial processes and the growth of financial technology (fintech) are creating demand for specialists who can work with analytics, budgeting and digital platforms.

According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, financiers have one of the highest official salaries in the country, which highlights their demand.

Software engineering. The growth of the IT sector, particularly artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and application development, makes this specialisation key to the economy.

Construction and civil engineering, geodesy and land management. The restoration of Ukraine's infrastructure after the war and the development of urban planning require qualified engineers and surveyors.

Tourism and recreation. The development of domestic tourism and the recovery of the tourism industry after the pandemic and wartime are creating new opportunities for specialists in this field.

Physical education and sports. The promotion of a healthy lifestyle and sports initiatives is driving demand for coaches and sports event organisers.

Automotive transport. The growth of logistics and the need for vehicle maintenance ensure stable demand for specialists.

Secretarial and office work. The organisation of business processes and document flow remains important for all sectors of the economy.

Pharmacy. Growing demand for medical services and pharmaceutical products, especially in the context of post-war recovery, ensures the relevance of this speciality.

These specialties correspond to global trends and local needs in Ukraine, making them promising for career growth.

New features of the 2025 admission campaign

– This year's admission campaign at our college has undergone important changes aimed at simplifying the process for applicants.

The main innovations are as follows:

Admission based on interview results. In 2025, all applicants will be admitted on the basis of an interview, both for state-funded places and for contract places, which will allow us to assess their motivation, knowledge and readiness for study. This replaces the traditional entrance exams, making the process more flexible and accessible.

Electronic submission of documents. All documents for admission are now submitted in electronic format via the college's official website. This saves applicants time, makes the process convenient and meets modern digital standards.

These changes are aimed at facilitating access to education and ensuring transparency in the admission process. Applicants can find details on the college's official website in the ‘Applicants’ section or contact the admissions office by phone or email:

–  Employment opportunities for graduates

– Our college graduates have extremely broad employment prospects that meet the current challenges and trends of the labour market. In 2025, this opportunity is particularly relevant due to rapid economic development, the opening of new factories and enterprises, and rapid progress in artificial intelligence (AI) and other innovative technologies.

Here is a detailed overview of the prospects for graduates of each specialisation, with an emphasis on new opportunities:

Accounting and taxation. Graduates can work as accountants, financial analysts, auditors or tax consultants. With the opening of new enterprises, particularly in the agro-industrial and light industries, the demand for accounting professionals is growing. In addition, the automation of financial processes using AI requires professionals who can work with innovative software such as 1C or SAP, adapting them to the needs of companies.

Finance, banking, insurance and the stock market. Financial specialists are in demand in banks, insurance companies, investment funds and stock markets. With the emergence of new fintech start-ups and AI in banking services (e.g. chatbots for customers or credit risk analytics), graduates can take up positions as data analysts, digital product managers or cybersecurity specialists in financial systems.

Software engineering. The IT sector remains one of the most dynamic in the world, and in 2025, the demand for programmers will only grow. Qualified personnel can work as software developers, testers, AI specialists, cybersecurity specialists or data analysts. In addition, new factories opening in Ukraine (for example, in the electric vehicle and defence industries) need such specialists to automate production processes and create management systems. AI start-ups also offer opportunities for developing machine learning algorithms.

Construction and civil engineering. The restoration of Ukraine's infrastructure after the war and the construction of new industrial facilities are creating huge demand for civil engineers, technicians and designers. Graduates can work on projects involving the construction of roads, bridges, factories or residential complexes. New enterprises, such as construction material factories, also need specialists for technical supervision and design.

Geodesy and land management. Growing investment in agriculture and infrastructure projects is increasing the demand for surveyors and land management specialists. If you choose this profession, you will be able to work in cadastral authorities, surveying companies or new enterprises engaged in land development for industrial purposes. The use of AI in surveying, for example, for processing data from drones, also opens up new career opportunities.

Tourism and recreation. The development of domestic tourism in Ukraine, particularly in the Carpathians and on the Black Sea coast, is creating demand for travel agency managers, tour guides and hotel administrators. New recreational complexes and tourism start-ups that use AI to personalise travel offer graduates innovative jobs, for example in marketing or customer experience management.

Physical education and sports. The promotion of a healthy lifestyle and the growth of sports infrastructure contribute to the employment of coaches, fitness centre instructors and sports event organisers. New sports complexes opening in cities require qualified specialists. In addition, AI technologies, such as data analysis for sports training, are creating demand for specialists who combine sports and technology.

Automotive transport. The growth of the logistics industry, particularly through the opening of new factories and export-import operations, is driving demand for mechanics, logisticians and car service managers. New companies that manufacture electric vehicles or components need specialists in the maintenance of modern transport. The introduction of AI in logistics (e.g., autonomous trucks) opens up opportunities for graduates interested in innovation.

Secretarial and office work. Administrative specialists are in demand in the offices of new companies, where document flow, planning and communication need to be organised. With the advent of digital platforms and AI assistants, job opportunities are opening up for project coordinators, office automation specialists and CRM system administrators.

Pharmacy. The growth of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly through the opening of new factories for the production of medicines and medical devices, is driving demand for pharmacists and quality control specialists. These specialists can work in pharmacies, laboratories or companies that use AI to develop new drugs or analyse clinical trial data.

Today's employment prospects for college graduates are particularly promising due to several key factors:

Opening of new factories and enterprises: Ukraine's industrial sector is actively developing, particularly in the fields of machine building, electric vehicle manufacturing, construction materials and pharmaceuticals. These enterprises need qualified specialists in various fields, from engineers to office administrators.

Development of artificial intelligence. AI is transforming all sectors of the economy, creating new jobs for those who can work with technology. For example, programmers develop AI systems, financiers analyse data using algorithms, and pharmacists use AI for research. In addition, traditional professions such as surveying and logistics are adapting to new technologies.

Economic recovery of Ukraine. Post-war reconstruction and foreign investment are contributing to job creation in construction, transport, tourism and other sectors. The college actively cooperates with local businesses, organising internships and work placements, which facilitates the transition of graduates to professional life.

Flexibility and versatility of specialisations. The study programmes we offer are focused on practical skills that graduates can adapt to different roles. For example, a finance specialist can work in a bank or an IT company, and a programmer can work in a start-up or an industrial enterprise.

The college is focused on the demands of the times: it offers competitive specialisations, a digital admission procedure and prospects for professional development. We invite applicants to join our large family and get an education that will lay the foundation for a successful career! Detailed information about admission can be found on the official website of the college or by contacting the admissions office.
