Meeting with scientific delegations from Croatia and Serbia at UzhNU
On Thursday, September 2, 2021, the leadership of Uzhhorod National University met with a delegation from the Polytechnic in Pozega (Croatia) represented by Associate Professor Mark Sostar and Associate Professor Berislav Andrlic and a delegation from College of Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship (Belgrade, Serbia) represented by Professor Sladjana Vujicic and Professor Gordana Gavric. Foreign scientists met with the rector of Uzhhorod National University Volodymyr Smolanka, vice-rector for academic affairs, research and international relations Myroslava Lendel, the head of the department of international relations of Uzhhorod National University Oksana Svezhentseva and the dean of the Faculty of Economics Vitaliy Serzhanov.
Both delegations are involved in the international cooperation of the Faculty of Economics. Vitaliy Serzhanov says, “We have established very good relations with higher educational institutions of both countries and cooperate closely with the Polytechnic of Požega, Croatia within the framework of Ekazmus+ programme. A lot of our teachers visited this university as part of their internships, gave lectures there, and the teachers from the Croatian University also visited Uzhhorod National University to deliver lectures to our students. There’s also a student exchange between our universities. At the same time, our cooperation with Belgrade College of Business, Economics and Entrepreneurship has been going on for more than a year. We have signed an agreement under the Erasmus+ programme and are planning to develop our mutually beneficial cooperation."
It is worth noting that during the meeting a new agreement was signed within the framework of Erasmus+ exchange for 2021-2027 between Uzhhorod National University and the Polytechnic of Pozega.
