Last year 39 theses, including 1 doctoral dissertation, were defended at UzhNU

On March 24, 2016 the meeting of the Academic Council of UzhNU was held, where the report of Specialized Scientific Boards on theses defense in 2015 was presented.

"Specialized Scientific Boards are an important indicator of research activity conducted by the university," - said the scientific secretary Olena Melnyk. In 2015, six Scientific Boards specializing in physical and mathematical, historical, chemical, legal and medical sciences were functioning at UzhNU. Of these, two boards (in legal and physical and mathematical sciences) had the right to evaluate doctoral theses.
