International competition "Sakura Blossoms" took place in the swimming-pool of UzhNU

66 veterans of swimming, representing 16 cities of Ukraine and Hungary participated in the competition. The oldest participants were Viktor Pinskyi born in 1937 (Lviv) and Alla Shchetnikova born in 1938 (Uzhhorod). The swimmers competed in the individual competition by age groups (25-29, 30-34, up to 85 years) at distances from 50 to 400 meters.

All the winners were awarded with original statuettes.

The main prizes - cups were presented to three women and three men who participated in at least three swimming races and became the winners by the total number of points earned during the competition.

The winners were Valentyna Kvita (1988) and Dmytro Miller (1968) - both from the city of Lviv (Club "EURO-LVIV MASTERS").

 The competition was organized by the swimming club "Na start" with the support of the Department of Culture, Sport, Youth and Family of Uzhhorod City Council and the Ukrainian Association of Swimming Clubs "MASTERS".
