Doctor of Economics, Professor Volodymyr Prykhodko took part in the interregional forum ‘Social dialogue as the basis for good governance on Ukraine's path to the European Union.’
Head of the Department of International Economic Relations, Director of the Research Institute ‘Institute of Public Administration’ of Uzhhorod National University, Prof. Volodymyr Prykhodko took part in the interregional forum ‘Social dialogue as the basis for good governance on Ukraine's path to the European Union’ (Uzhhorod, 15 October 2025). Organised by the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service, the International Labour Organisation, the Council of Europe, the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration and Uzhhorod National University, the Forum brought together over 100 participants:
⏺ representatives of central and regional authorities,
⏺ trade unions,
⏺ employers,
⏺ scientists,
⏺ international organisations.
They deepened their knowledge of international standards and Ukraine's obligations in the field of collective labour relations and social dialogue, particularly in the context of the European Social Charter, the acquis communautaire of the European Union and the recommendations of the International Labour Organisation.
The forum became a platform for discussing how to build effective social dialogue in Ukraine at the national and regional levels.
The key topics of the event were the controversial aspects of changes to social dialogue legislation, as well as discussions and proposals on conducting social dialogue at the regional level.
