Call for proposals for Ukrainian-Lithuanian research and development projects is open
On March 1, 2021, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania and the Research Council of Lithuania announced a call for proposals for joint Ukrainian-Lithuanian research and development projects to be implemented in 2022-2023.
The call for proposals is open till May 4, 2021.
Priority areas for participation in the competition are the following:
1. information and new production technologies (laser, precision, mechanotronic, robotic, plasma, optoelectronic, sensor, etc.);
2. power management and energy efficiency;
3. ecology and environmental management;
4. life sciences, new technologies for treatment and prevention of the most common diseases, research in the field of biotechnology, bioengineering and genetics;
5. new substances and materials;
6. priority problems in the field of social sciences and humanities;
7. defense technologies.
The competition is open to any Ukrainian research groups of higher education institutions, research institutions, enterprises whose charter includes scientific research activities, and research groups representing the institutions of the Republic of Lithuania.
