Associate Professor Ludmyla Symochko represented UzhNU at the international scientific conference in Africa
“International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture and Environment” was held on October 8-10, 2018 in Hammamet, Tunisia.
The conference was attended by the researchers from 14 countries, including the United States of America, Turkey, Indonesia, Belgium, Tunisia, Egypt, Malaysia, Algeria, Germany, France, Ukraine, Morocco, Italy, and Jordan. The researchers were working in 8 sections.
The associate professor of Entomology and Biodiversity Conservation Department of the Faculty of Biology of UzhNU Ludmyla Symochko was invited to the conference present her report on "Food Security In Agroecosystems - Risks For Human Health", where she highlighted the results of her research on food security and the assessment of risks for human health on the territory of Ukraine. The scientist from Uzhhorod was also a moderator of two sections: "Microbiology" and "Food Security"
During the round tables, the issues of international scientific cooperation between UzhNU and the universities of other countries were discussed. In particular, it was agreed to prepare a joint project with a research group of North Dakota State University (the USA).
