The Scientific Research Institute of Migration and Demography of the Faculty of Economics was established by the decision of the Academic Council of Uzhhorod National University in late 2019. Its purpose is to organize and conduct research on migration issues in the Transcarpathian region and to monitor the migration process in Ukraine. Additionally, the Institute aims to study the experiences of European Union countries in this field and integrate them into the scientific and educational process at Uzhhorod National University. Moreover, the Institute is dedicated to developing scientific and practical recommendations for regional government bodies and local authorities."
