Research Institute of Central Europe

The Research Institute of Central Europe was established on January 31, 2013, with the aim of conducting comprehensive historical, cultural, political, sociological, and economic research of this unique region. It combines theoretical and applied scientific developments, as well as organizes public events to discuss controversial issues related to the contemporary development of the Central European area.

The institute's director is Dr. Miroslava Oleksandrivna Lendel, holding a Doctorate in Political Science, appointed on a public basis.

Tasks of the Institute:

1. Conducting fundamental and applied scientific research on various aspects of the development of Central European countries and the region as a whole.

2. Publishing research results in printed and electronic forms, including monographs, article collections, abstracts, journals, bulletins, websites, and others.

3. Promoting scientific results through the organization and participation in conferences, seminars, round tables, working groups, and other scientific forums.

4. Providing consultation, expertise, and other services to governmental authorities, local self-government, interested organizations, and individuals.

5. Organizing and moderating public discussions on problematic issues related to the contemporary development of the Central European area.

6. Undertaking scientific and methodological work applicable in the preparation of scientific personnel, the educational process in higher education institutions, and the use by governmental bodies, analytical centers, and other structures.

7. Establishing scientific connections with other research and educational institutions in Ukraine and other countries to implement joint scientific projects and events.

8. Reviewing completed scientific research and providing recommendations for publication.

9. Participating in the implementation of scientific research results into practice.
