The main goal of the department's activities is to ensure a modern and dynamic research and innovation environment by attracting additional non-budgetary resources for the successful development of research, innovation, economic, and social projects, as well as participation in national and international project competitions and programs.

The Department of Scientific Grant Activities is responsible for the following functions:

- Conducting monitoring and analysis of the results of scientific and research activities in collaboration with relevant units of the University, to form a database of project proposals that align with the priorities of international and state programs and funds.

- Participation in the formation of databases related to the University's scientific potential.

- Establishing and maintaining connections with donor organizations and funds that provide grant and informational support.

- Analyzing existing grant programs, conducting professional evaluation, and adapting them to the needs of the University. Intensive information and consultation activities are carried out to facilitate participation in grant programs for researchers.

- Supporting the process of preparing project proposals by interdisciplinary groups, developing high-quality information blocks regarding the University's potential and activities for use in project proposals.

- Analyzing prepared project proposals to ensure compliance with the requirements of grant-giving organizations and the University, including planned funding amounts, funding categories, and required resource provisions.

- Preparing and submitting project proposals to international grant competitions for the most prioritized and significant directions for the University.

- Organizing the University's participation in the implementation of scientific grant projects in collaboration with other higher education institutions in Ukraine, as part of international consortia, interdepartmental working groups, etc.
