International Design School (IDS) of Georgian Technical University (GTU)
The opening of IDS was initiated by one of the most famous designers in modern history – The Car Designer of the Century – Prof. Dr. Giorgetto Giugiaro, the Italian automobile stylist and founder of ITALDESIGN Group. Program of IDS – the first fully English-language faculty of GTU has been prepared in full accordance to the highest international educational standards currently adopted by leading European and North American design schools. Courses at IDS are conducted by foreign and local Professors and are highly valued by both the visiting and local bachelorand master student of IDS.
Georgian Technical University is one of the largest educational and scientific institutions in the Southern Caucasian region. It was founded in 1922 and is a leading engineering school with a powerful scientific core.
