UzhNU started cooperation with the University of Pardubice in the Czech Republic

 

On September 7, during the visit of the delegation of the Transcarpathian Regional Council to the Pardubice Region (the Czech Republic), the Vice-Rector for Academic Policy and Research of UzhNU, Professor Myroslava Lendel presented the Rector of the University of Pardubice Miroslav Ludwig the Memorandum on cooperation between the universities, which had previously been coordinated by the universities and signed by the Rector of Uzhhorod National University, Professor Volodymyr Smolanka. This document opens up possibilities for cooperation in the fields of academic mobility, exchange, research and development of common infrastructure.

The issues of launching joint projects of UzhNU and the Faculty of Chemical Technology of the university belonging to the top ones in the Czech Republic were discussed at the meeting of Myroslava Lendel with the leadership of the University of Pardubice. The idea of ​​creating common energy and information cluster offered by the representatives of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics is very prospective.

All these ideas will be developed at the meeting of the International consortium of universities dedicated to the 70th anniversary of UzhNU and scheduled for October 15-16, 2015.

 The University of Pardubice is one of 26 public higher educational institutions in the Czech Republic, and the only university in the Pardubice region.
