UzhNU lecturers, researchers and students took part in the All-Ukrainian Forum "Integration Processes in the Wine Industry: Modern Tools"
UzhNU lecturers, researchers and students took part in the All-Ukrainian Forum "Integration Processes in the Wine Industry: Modern Tools" (Mukachevo, 14.11.25). The forum brought together over 200 participants from regions of Ukraine, EU countries and international organizations led by the UN FAO. The main goal of the forum was to promote the formation of a competitive, innovative and export-oriented wine-growing and wine-making industry of Ukraine, which will become an important element of European wine culture, economy and cultural heritage. The forum had several panels: 1. Integration processes in the industry: current state and results, the speakers were: Oleksandr GARNOVDIY - Head of the Public Union of Winegrowers, Winemakers and Distillers of Transcarpathia; Luis AMAYA ORTIZ - Deputy Head of the FAO Office in Ukraine; Yulia PROKHODA - Patent Attorney of Ukraine, Lawyer, Legal Advisor to the UN FAO in Ukraine; Natalia BURLACHENKO - Head of the Public Organization "Ukrainian Viticulture and Winemaking Association UVVA"; Andriy STEFANOVYCH - Expert in Sustainable Spatial Development of Territories, Deputy General Director of ESRI Ukraine. In Panel 2 "Universities as a Unifying Platform for Industry Development: Modern Scientific Directions of Universities' Activities Integrated into the Strategy for the Development of the Wine Industry of Ukraine", the speakers were Volodymyr PRYKHODKO - Doctor of Economics, Professor, Director of the Research Institute "Institute of Public Administration and Regional Development", Head of the Department of International Economic Relations of the State Higher Educational Institution "UzhNU"; Vitaly SYMOCHKO - Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Horticulture and Viticulture of the State Higher Educational Institution "UzhNU"; Oksana TKACHENKO - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, FAO Technical Expert on Enology and Value Creation in Winemaking; Hanna SARKISYAN - Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Wine Technology and Sensory Analysis. In Panel 3: "Transcarpathia is the center of European integration processes in the development of Ukrainian winemaking. Prospects for cross-border cooperation with specialized associations and institutions", foreign guests spoke: Ricardo NUNEZ, Martin MARKO, Zoltan BENEK, Attila GEESOL, Anton CHEPIL and Kristof STASZEWSKI.
