The staff of the Department of Military Training of UzhNU continues teaching
The teaching staff of the Department of Military Training of Uzhhorod National University have conducted classes in firearms trainings and small arms for two weeks. Initially, it was planned to organize military training only for Uzhhorod National University employees, however, since the demand was high, it was decided to train everyone. So the courses were attended by 100-150 people every day. Currenty, the Department of Military Training of Uzhhorod National University continues teaching for its 2nd year students. Particular attention is paid to aquiring practical skills.
Vasyl Oliynyk, he Head of the Department of Military Training, notes: “Our goal is to teach people the basics, and help them to get rid of fear, panic, and become more united. The knowledge and skills that people have gained these days is enough for self-defence if necessary.
Now we are back to teaching to our 2-nd year students. The most important thing for us is practical application of the knowledge that students have gained in the last year and a half. Of course, we have to respond to the requirements of the time. Our graduates are junior lieutenants, they can become platoon commanders, so they need to make special efforts in training. And we will try to teach them as much as possible. There is a saying: "He who sweats more in trainings bleeds less in battle." There is one important thing. We asked each student individually if they wanted to continue their studies. No one refused. And it wotrh a lot. Our work hasn’t been in vain."
