On Tuesday, October 9, 2018, the rector of UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka met with Hanna Hopko, the chair of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee for Foreign Affairs.

During the business conversation, they discussed the issues of functioning of higher educational institutions in Ukraine, and the problems of reforming the educational and medical branches. The rector of UzhNU told the guest about the multifaceted activities of the university, its development, improving its facilities, and establishing international relations with foreign universities.

The conversation was also joined by the vice-rector of UzhNU for international affairs Myroslava Lendel.
