Rector of UzhNU hosted a delegation from Pakistan
On Friday, December 27, Uzhhorod National University was visited by a delegation from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan headed by Ambassador Nadir Khan. The Pakistani diplomats were received by the Rector of UzhNU, Professor Volodymyr Smolanka. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the terms and areas of cooperation.
First of all, V. Smolanka noted that Uzhhorod is a relatively safe and quiet region of Ukraine, so UzhNU can provide students with offline and, if necessary, online education. The university is doing everything possible to create the necessary conditions for a comfortable education, including for foreign students. That is why a large number of applicants from different countries, including Pakistan, come to the university every year.
The Rector of UzhNU told the guests in detail about the educational opportunities and scientific achievements of the university, its high place in the world and national rankings, and the systematic work on the modernization of the university.
During the conversation, it was noted that the cooperation between the two parties allows for the exchange of experience and knowledge between students and teachers. This significantly increases the amount of scientific materials and information that young people will receive. Involvement of experts from abroad in the educational process is an important component, as views on the same topic may vary in different parts of the world, so students will receive knowledge from several points of view. The terms of cooperation also provide for student exchange and continuing education to improve educational degrees.
The parties expressed their mutual interest in deepening future cooperation on a mutually beneficial basis and exchanged greetings on the occasion of the upcoming New Year.
