Open lecture on modern engineering approaches to drone development for students of the faculty of information technologies at UzhNU
As part of the friendly cooperation between Uzhhorod National University and the IT Cluster Zakarpattia, an open lecture for 2nd–4th year students of the Faculty of Information Technologies was held on the topic “Modern Engineering Approaches in Drone Development: Practical Aspects.”
The event served as a logical continuation of the “Robotics” course, which students were completing at that time. Participants had the opportunity to explore the technical foundations of constructing unmanned aerial vehicles, principles of programming, as well as features of controlling and practically applying modern drones.
The lecture was organized at the initiative of the Department of Information Control Systems and Technologies. Speakers from the IT Cluster Zakarpattia: Tetiana Shurshun and Ivan Hrab, who shared their practical experience, modern engineering approaches in unmanned systems, and real-world use cases of drones across various sectors.
From UzhNU, the event was supported by Associate Professor Oleksandr Levchuk and Department Assistant Dmytro Lendel, who emphasized the importance of combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills essential for training competent specialists in robotics and intelligent systems.
The cooperation between Uzhhorod National University and the IT Cluster Zakarpattia continues to expand opportunities for students to acquire relevant knowledge and practical competencies.
