IT spesialists of UzhNU established scientific links with Slovakia
A Czech-Polish-Slovak preparation camp where young people were trained for the international student programming contest was held last week in Slovakia in a wonderful place called Danisovce located not far from the town of Spisska Nova Ves. Camp organizers invited Uzhhorod National University representatives to hold a masterclass.
On Monday, June 14, the head of the Department of Information Control Systems and Technologies of the Faculty of Information Technologies Oleksandr Mitsa and a 4th year student of the Mathematics Faculty Roman Melnyk held a "Ukrainian Day" in Danishovce, presenting interesting tasks in computer science and original approaches to their solution.
On June 18-19, IT specialists of UzhNU Oleksandr Mitsa, Roman Melnyk and Serhiy Oryshych visited Slovakia again. This time they visited Vihorlat observatory in Humenne and their astronomical base on Kolonicke Sidlo.
