How to diversify the learning process?
Recently, during a CIT webinar, its participants were advised to join the Coursera platform, which is one of the most popular international resources today. The company offers its users thousands of free online courses in various subjects, upon successful completion of which a user receives a course completion certificate. The platform cooperates with universities from different countries of the world to teach the courses prepared by these educational institutions online. Currently, they offer training courses in the fields of engineering, humanities, medicine, biology, social sciences, mathematics, business, computer science, etc. Such leading companies as Google, Meta, IBM, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, and world universities including Yale University, California Institute of the Arts, Duke University, Erasmus University Rotterdam and others present their developments here. The number of students on the website has exceeded 70 million people.
Uzhhorod National University is also a member of Coursera.
How to become a user of the platform?
Ukranian students and teachers can get free access to Coursera at the link https://mooc4ua.online/. You need to choose your institution, join the programme and register through your UzhNU account.
At the end of May, the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine and the Coursera team held a joint webinar for educational institutions about the unique possibilities of using educational online platforms. The platform will help teachers to supplement the main educational programmes, and will be an additional source of knowledge for students.
