Competition 'Startup – UzhNU: Towards Innovation!’

Dear students, postgraduate students and young scientists!

We draw your attention to the organization of this year's competition 'Startup – UzhNU: Towards Innovation!’

According to the Regulations on the 'Startup – UzhNU' competition of innovative ideas at the State Higher Educational Institution 'Uzhhorod National University,' this year's 'Startup – UzhNU: Towards Innovation!' competition will take place in March-April. The competition is an excellent opportunity for the development of your entrepreneurial skills, collaboration with like-minded individuals, and the realization of your best ideas into reality!

The aim of the competition is to support students, postgraduates, and young researchers under 35 years old by educating them on the basics of business management, implementing new research methods, gaining experience in public presentation of their ideas and project pitches, presenting projects to sponsor entrepreneurs, providing financial support to competition winners, assisting in the implementation of ideas (projects) into production with the effective application of modern IT technologies, as well as implementing Beyond 5G networks and programs in various fields. The competition will consist of three stages:

First Stage (February 20, 2024 – March 21, 2024) – Registration of participants' applications on the official website of Uzhhorod National University (UzhNU).

Second Stage (March 22, 2024 – April 19, 2024) – Selection process, preparation of presentations, preliminary evaluation of participants' projects by the commission members. Additionally, during this stage, startup founders will receive consultation support in preparing presentation materials for accelerator programs.

Third Stage (April 25, 2024) – Competition day; public presentation of ideas and project pitches; announcement and awarding of winners.
