Awareness of European integration is a necessary requirement of the present day
European integration priorities of our state, implementation of the Ukraine–European Union Association Agreement, external and internal challenges of Ukrainian present time are relevant social topics.
On May 1, 2016 Educational and Research Institute of European Integration Studies of UzhNU (the director Ph.D., associate professor Ivan Artomov) launches an information campaign on European integration in order to increase the awareness of the heads of municipal and district self-government institutions, heads of village councils and teachers of the region. The reason for such activity is bilateral cooperation agreement signed by the Institute of European Integration Studies and the Transcarpathian Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education of the Department of Education and Science of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration and the Transcarpathian regional center for retraining and professional development of employees of state agencies, local self-government bodies, state enterprises, institutions and organizations. Every month, the scientists of the institute will deliver lectures, conduct workshops at the above mentioned institutions. Advanced informing of the representatives of self-government bodies, heads of state institutions and teachers of Ukraine's European integration and Euro-Atlantic cooperation of our country will contribute to better understanding of modern problems of Ukrainian foreign policy and result in the conduct of relevant extra-curricular activities with the students of Transcarpathian schools.
