The 'War Law Research Center' of the State Higher Educational Institution 'Uzhhorod National University' was established with the support of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine for the following purpose:

• Develop the concept of war law in Ukraine based on the norms of international humanitarian law and taking into account the experience of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
• Conduct scientific research in the field of legal, economic, social, and humanitarian aspects of the use of military force in modern armed conflicts and the Russian-Ukrainian war.
• Incorporate knowledge and competencies related to war law into higher legal education.

In its activities, the Center adheres to the current legislation of Ukraine, the University's Statute, the Center's Regulations, and other regulatory and legal acts of Ukraine.

The Center is located at 26 Kapitulna Street, Uzhhorod, Ukraine.
