Uzhhorod National University and the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University (Bratislava) signed a memorandum
On Tuesday, February 27, a delegation from the University of Comenius (Bratislava) headed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Juraj Paer visited UzhNU. The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Comenius is the first and oldest medical educational institution in Slovakia. First of all, distinguished guests met with the rector of Uzhhorod National University Volodymyr Smolanka. The meeting was also attended by Vice-Rectors Ivan Myroniuk, Myroslava Lendiel and Dean of the Medical Faculty of UzhNU Oleksandr Boldizhar.
The parties shared their experience in the field of medical research, training of foreign students, international cooperation, in particular, within the framework of the Erasmus + program. Prof. Volodymyr Smolanka noted that the Ukrainian and Slovak peoples have a lot in common and similar mentalities, which will only contribute to the establishment of cooperation between universities.
