The delegation of the Student Council of UzhNU took part in the conference “Uzhhorod-Cherkasy: Exchange of Experience of Student Self-Government Bodies”
On December 24-25, 2024, the delegation of the Student Council of Uzhhorod National University took part in the conference “Uzhhorod-Cherkasy: Exchange of Experience of Student Self-Government Bodies”, which was held at Bohdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University.
For two days, the conference participants had the opportunity to share the experience of student councils, present their own projects and initiatives, and learn about the achievements of their colleagues from Cherkasy. Representatives of UzhNU, namely the acting chairman of the Student Council Stanislav Skorondiak and his deputy Olena Keretsman, presented key aspects of their Student Council, spoke about the peculiarities of student life in Uzhhorod and shared successful practices in the field of self-government.
In addition, a tour of Cherkasy National University was organized for the delegation. The participants noted the modern infrastructure, comfortable learning spaces, and innovative approach to education at ChNU.
The conference was not only a platform for sharing experiences, but also a great opportunity to establish new partnerships. The ideas that the participants brought with them will certainly become the basis for the further development of student government at both universities.
The organizers created comfortable conditions for work and communication, providing a warm atmosphere and inspiration for future initiatives. The conference participants expressed their hope for continued cooperation, as such events contribute to strengthening ties between student communities in Ukraine.
