Representatives of UzhNU took part in the All-Ukrainian Forum of Youth Work “United by Light”

From November 28 to December 01, 2024, the head of the Center for Humanitarian and Educational Work, Career Guidance and Employment Mariia Yatskiv and the head of the YouthHub Youth Center Dmytro Koytyuk took part in the All-Ukrainian Forum of Youth Work “United by Light”. It was a unique opportunity to share experiences, get inspired by ideas, and unite around important youth development issues.

Mariia Yatskiv joined the panel discussion “Youth Centers in Higher Education Institutions: Bug or Feature?” as a speaker and shared her experience of creating the YouthHub Youth Center at UzhNU, the first youth center in Ukraine to be established as a structural unit of the university, and spoke about its achievements, best practices, and youth engagement. The discussion also focused on the strengths and weaknesses of university youth centers. Together with Dmytro Koytyuk, Yevhen Kuznetsov, Program Manager of the UNICEF Lviv Regional Office, and representatives of Lutsk National Technical University, they moderated the workshop during group assignments and discussions.

Participation in the forum provided new knowledge, an opportunity to share their unique practices, and to meet representatives of other youth centers and spaces in Ukraine.
