Rector’s Greeting on the Occasion of the 80th Anniversary of UzhNU
Dear colleagues, friends, and our cherished university family,
Today is a special day as our University celebrates its glorious 80th anniversary. This remarkable milestone is not merely a number on the calendar; it represents eight decades of dedicated work, tireless pursuit of truth, and faithful service to education and science.
This celebration unites all generations: those who stood at the origins of its foundation, those who developed and shaped its traditions, those who continue this honorable mission today, and those who have only just begun their journey of learning here.
Over these 80 years, our University has traversed a grand path of growth and development. We have lived through different times, yet have always remained a hub of intellect, culture, and innovation. During this period, we have prepared thousands of highly qualified specialists who have become the pride of not only our region, but also of our entire country and the world. Their achievements stand as the best testament to the quality of education and the depth of knowledge we provide.
We take pride in our distinguished teachers and scholars whose names are inscribed in golden letters in the history of Ukrainian science. We are deeply grateful to everyone who, through their work, talent, and dedication, has strengthened the prestige of our Alma Mater.
I sincerely congratulate our students, who are our present and our future! May your years at the University be a time of ambitious goals, remarkable discoveries, and true friendship.
