University competition of monographs for the year 2014

University competition of monographs is held to encourage the development of basic and applied research, better use of the scientific potential of the university in solving actual scientific-technical and socio-economic problems.

Individual or joint editions in natural sciences and humanities published in 2014 can be submitted for the competition. The number of authors of joint work submitted for the competition shall not exceed 10 people. The following additional materials have to be attached to each submitted work:

The decision of the department to nominate the work for the competition.

Monograph.

Annotation.

Reviews, references and other documents reflecting public recognition of the work.

The submitted research papers are considered by the competition commission appointed by the rector. The conclusion of the commission is presented to the Academic Council of the University, which takes the decision about granting the award. Competition results are approved by rector’s order. The competition winners are awarded with a cash bonus.
