The Faculty of Law of UzhNU joined the OSCE Academic Mobility Programme in Ukraine
Online opening of the guest lecturers programme within the project "Improvement of Legal Education and Human Rights Education" implemented by the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine took place on Monday, November 2, 2020. According to the organizers, the purpose of the meeting is to acquaint participants with the idea of the programme and the peculiarities of its implementation, present the original courses developed by the teachers who won the open competition of guest lecturers, and discuss the academic mobility problems and challenges in Ukraine.
As part of the project, students of Uzhhorod National University, Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, National University “Odesa Law Academy” and Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the lectures by some leading Ukrainian lawyers. For students of UzhNU the course of lectures will be presented by Oleksandr Komarov - Ph.D., LL.M. (2020), Yale Law School, lecturer at Law School of the Ukrainian Catholic University. Professor, Doctor of Law Mykhailo Savchyn will deliver the course "Human Rights and Institutional Capacity of the State" for students and post-graduate students at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University on November 2-5, 2020.
The online meeting was attended by Oleksandr Sydelnikov - Ph.D., National Project Manager for the Rule of Law and Human Rights of the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine, Oleksandr Pyzhov – State Expert on Regulatory Support of the Directorate of Higher and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Yuriy Barabash - Doctor of Law, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Vyacheslav Tulyakov - Doctor of Law, Vice-Rector for International Relations of National University "Odessa Law Academy", Yaroslav Lazur - Doctor of Law, the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Uzhhorod National University and Iryna Koval - Doctor of Law, the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University.
The guest lecturers who also joined the meeting were Mykhailo Savchyn - Doctor of Law, Professor of Uzhhorod National University, Nadiya Pysarenko - Doctor of Law, Associate Professor of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Oleksandr Komarov - Ph.D., LL.M. (2020), Yale Law School, lecturer at Law School of the Ukrainian Catholic University and Vira Mykhaylenko - Ph.D., investigating judge of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court.
