Students and staff of the Faculty of Health and Physical Education of UzhNU took part in the V International Student Conference at the St. Alzbieta University of Health and Social Work

On March 7, 2024, students and academic staff of the Faculty of Health and Physical Education took part in the V International Student Conference at the St. Alzbieta University of Health and Social Work (Slovakia).

The conference is dedicated to topical issues of physical therapy, public health, and social work. Higher education applicants presented research on the following issues: the role of massage in the physical rehabilitation of military personnel with myofascial pain syndrome; development and correction of social skills of primary school children with Asperger's syndrome; innovative teaching technologies for preschool children with special educational needs; an unconventional technique of mule-patty dough modeling as a means of developing fine motor skills of children with special educational needs; support for breastfeeding based on the results of a survey of women. The best reports were awarded with diplomas: 

1st degree diploma: 

KRASNA Victoria, specialty 227 Therapy and rehabilitation of the master's degree. Theme. The role of massage in the physical rehabilitation of military personnel with myofascial pain syndrome.

Supervisor: Candidate of Science in Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, Special and Inclusive Education Oleksandra Huzak.

Diploma of the 2nd degree:

Kornash Ivanna, specialty 229 Public Health, Master's degree. Theme. Support for breastfeeding according to the results of a survey of women.

Supervisor: Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Health Sciences Valeria BRICH 

KORH Oleksandra, KIRLYK Kamila specialty 016 Special Education Bachelor's degree. Development and correction of social skills of primary school children with Asperger's syndrome.

Supervisor: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, Special and Inclusive Education Marianna Kliap.

Interesting scientific works on the introduction of innovations in working with children with special educational needs were presented by students of specialty 016 Special Education DUMNICH Melania (supervisor: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Oksana Gaiash) and KURYCHKA Anna (supervisor: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Marianna Kliap). Congratulations to the participants!
