Seminar for lecturers organized by the National School of Judges of Ukraine and UzhNU
The other day a seminar for lecturers within the framework of the concluded agreement on cooperation between the National School of Judges of Ukraine and the Law Faculty of UzhNU was held in the premises of the Faculty of Law.
Rector of the University Volodymyr Smolanka congratulated seminar participants on the beginning of a new stage of relations: "I am pleased to welcome you to the first event of the kind in our university. I am sure that today you will gain new knowledge that can be applied in practice. Discuss, talk, debate! Lectures will be delivered to you by our university professors and guests from the National School of Judges of Ukraine."
Director of Lviv regional department of the National School of Judges Oksana Polna thanked colleagues of UzhNU who gladly agreed to organize the seminar and provided the premises for the event. "We have carefully thought over the topic of the seminar taking into consideration which areas might be the most interesting for you. Today you will be able to hear some topics and we hope they will capture your attention, "- said Ms Oksana.
Acting dean of the faculty Yaroslav Lazur has stressed that the door of the Faculty of Law are always open for the National School of Judges.
Vice-rector for research and pedagogical work Oleksandr Rohach has delivered a welcome speech. He has said that gratitude for organizing this seminar should be first of all expressed to the head of the National School of Judges Mykola Onishchuk and Rector of UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka who found common ground and did their best to hold the event on a high level.
After the welcome speeches, Doctor of Law, Director the of the Centre for Lawmaking of UzhNU, lecturer of the National School of Judges, Advisor to the Chair of the Constitutional Court (2008-2010) Mykhaylo Savchyn delivered a lecture "Constitutional and legal principles of justice implementation in Ukraine".
