A delegation from the University of Peter Andrei in Iași (Romania) arrived at UzhNU with a working visit

On Tuesday, April 8, a delegation from Romania, consisting of the Rector of the Petra Andrei University of Iași Teodora Prelipcan, Vice-Rector Sorin Bocanchu, Head of the Quality Assurance Department Christian Bocanchu, Administrative Director Florin Kiriac and the Chairman of the University Senate Lavinia Prutianu, arrived at the University Administration. UzhNU was represented by the Rector Volodymyr Smolanka, the Vice-Rector Myroslava Lendiel and the Senior Lecturer of the Department of Romance Languages and Foreign Literature Taras Datsyo.

As a result of the visit, a decision was made to conclude a cooperation agreement between Uzhhorod National University and Petr Andrei University of Iași. The cooperation agreement was signed by the rectors of the universities Volodymyr Smolanka and Teodora Prelipchan.

This agreement will be the beginning of a mutually supportive and cooperative relationship designed to emphasise the development of joint educational and research projects. The agreement opens up new opportunities for academic mobility, joint organisation of workshops, conferences and seminars, mutual publication of research, scientific and methodological literature, and other forms of university cooperation of mutual interest. The parties are currently in active negotiations on the future academic exchange of UzhNU medical faculty members to the Petr Andrei University in Iași. The guests also planned to hold a workshop for students of the Faculty of Social Sciences of UzhNU.
